About me and my practice
Counselling is a personal and important journey and I would like to be able to support you to find your way, to become more self aware and to make those changes you hope to make.
I am an approachable and naturally supportive person. I provide counselling and wellbeing support via a variety of mediums - face to face, telephone, video call and online. I believe its important that you feel comfortable in accessing support in whichever method suits you and your circumstances.
I have a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society and Registered member of the BACP. I am DBS checked and I work with adults, couple's and young people (11-18 years). I work in an integrative way, which means that I cater my sessions to suit the needs of each person.
Experience
I have many years experience of providing emotional support to young people and adults. I have provided emotional support in a variety of roles and settings including face to face drop in centres, youth centres, via a helpline and also via an online counselling platform. I started my journey in supporting others when I was 14 years old, as a volunteer youth worker and working my way up over the years to finally managing a team of counsellors.
My passion for supporting others continued when I enrolled on a counselling course a few years back which was where I was able to bring together all the skills I have gained over the years and to start on a journey of self discovery and self reflection.
Counselling is a personal and important journey and I would like to be able to support you to find your way, to become more self aware and to make those changes you hope to make.
